What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an excellent anti-ageing treatment, clinically proven to help with a wide range of ageing symptoms. It acts as a hydrator rather than a traditional dermal filler, and is therefore fantastic for those with tired, dull and ageing skin, as it provides more overall plump and luminous skin.
-
What problems can Profhilo solve?
If you’re not sure whether to have dermal filler or Profhilo treatment, please get in touch with Priya to book a consultation. She’ll examine your face to assess the individual way in which your skin is ageing in order to discuss the best potential options for you.
Examples of some of the signs of ageing that Profhilo can be used for include:
- Wrinkles such as crow’s feet, smoker’s lines, smile lines and frown lines.
- Saggy, loose skin – on your face, décolletage, neck, arms or hands.
- Dull, dehydrated looking skin.
- Sunken skin that needs more volume.
Firm up sagging skin for a younger-looking appearance
With ageing, the skin loses its elasticity and volume which leads to a ‘sagging’ appearance. Dermal fillers work by replacing this loss of volume and rehydrating the skin from within by restoring the skin’s youthful smooth contours.
Dermal fillers are widely used to treat static lines (deep wrinkles) around the lips (nasolabial and marionette lines) deep glabella wrinkles, to plump the lips and restore the lips contours and to add volume to cheeks. Modern fillers can also be used as prevention of ageing and treatment for fine lines as well as rejuvenation of the neck, décolletage and hands.
- Cheek fillers for fuller cheeks
- Tear trough fillers to remove dark circles under the eyes
- Chin fillers to create a more prominent chin
- Dermal fillers can smooth over facial lines
- Strengthen the jawline
- Firm up skin on the face, hands, neck and chest
